- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using industry-standard tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar technologies.
- Extract data from various sources, including databases, APIs, flat files, and cloud platforms.
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights through data cleansing, aggregation, and validation.
- Load transformed data into target databases, data warehouses, or data lakes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business objectives.
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including ETL design specifications and data mappings.
- Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Implement data governance and security policies to comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Work with DevOps teams to automate deployments and ensure continuous integration/delivery of ETL pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and architectures (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and related data services.
